After many years of experience in the field of conveyors, Manfred Huber (Graduate Engineer) first takes up the challenge of “transporting people at chairlifts”.

Development and installation of the first loading conveyor for "See/Paznauntal" ski resort in Austria.

to 1997: Realization of several loading conveyor projects in the “Dachstein-West" ski region in Austria.

Development of the first loading conveyor with chain-belt technology.
1997
ChairkiD cooperates with the Doppelmayr ropeway company in the field of loading conveyors.
1998
Farthofer Stahlbau GmbH assumes production of ChairkiD loading conveyors.
1998
Development of a conveyor lift-up platform for children.
1999
ChairkiD Fördertechnik GmbH established with Helmut Farthofer, Manfred Huber and Dieter Zimmermann as shareholders.
2002
Dieter Zimmermann leaves the company. Max Bruckschlögl joins the company as the new shareholder.
2002
to 2008: Following the successful further development and expansion of the dealer network, ChairkiD cooperates with around 20 sales partners worldwide.
2006
ChairkiD assumes service and maintenance for around 80 loading conveyors manufactured by Seilern & Aspang.
2007
ChairkiD develops a robust textile belt in a contemporary design (“Swedish Belt”) for older systems.
2008
ChairkiD North America Inc. founded: a sales team of four people is responsible for all of the USA and Canada. Manfred Huber is the president and Marc Wood is vice president.
2008
The shareholder Max Bruckschlögl leaves the company.
2009
ChairkiD North America, Inc. takes over product sales for Meingast and Neveplast in the USA and Canada.

Presentation of the “Sideloader” prototype at the Interalpin tradeshow (curved loading conveyor for older systems).
2010
Marc Wood, Vice President ChairkiD North America, Inc., becomes a shareholder in ChairkiD Fördertechnik GmbH.
2011
Development of ChairkiD’s “easy access”: modern barrier solution and ramp in loading areas.

ChairkiD cooperates with the Leitner ropeway company in the field of loading conveyors.
ChairkiD today is responsible for around 450 loading conveyors located all over the world.
