The chain belt is the heart of every ChairkiD loading conveyor. It consists of individual plastic modules from 50 to 200 mm width and 50 mm lenght. The plastic modules are joined together with splice rods at their lugs and thus assembled to the corresponding width and endless length.

Indentations and deepenings are located on the underside of the belt into which the cogs can engage and transfer the drive force. The belt is also guided from the side.

The material and shape of the surface of the belt has been designed in such a way, as to transport skiers safe and help them move smoothly over the surface. To this end, the surface possesses an around 1.5-mm high rough structure (ChairkiD logo). The conveyor belt possesses red track markings on its outer edges and between the loading position lanes, which help to identify the tracks. Skiers are therefore easily able to see how they must position themselves between these red lines to get on the chairlift safely and comfortably.
